All of you know how much I love each of my children. If anyone was to ask me about any one of them I could give you a list a mile long about their strengths and gifts. When each of them were born, I thanked my Heavenly Father for the gift of their life. When they were little I could hold them and love them anytime I wanted to. I guess you could say I had a false sense of security about how I could protect them. Somehow I would always know what to do and how to do it. Of course I would always love them and they would always love me no matter what.

I was going to be the best mom ever. I was never going to make mistakes. Its interesting how life teaches us that we are not always in control. Our children are given to us for a short time. It's wise to use that time wisely. Did I do everything well? No, I did not. Have I made mistakes? Yes, many of them. I am sorry for that. I did the best I could with the knowledge I had at the time. We all come to parenthood with the same resume. No experience. Each child is different, they have their own personality and responses. They each get their own life situations that begin to shape who they are and who and what they become.

We knew that before we came to this earth, that we would have choices to make. We knew that we would make mistakes. We would be dealing with all kinds of opposition, pain, sorrow, guilt, sin, health issues and you name it. We were still excited to come and experience this life and prove to our Heavenly Father that we were worthy to be in his presence after this life. No matter how often I weed my garden, the next day I can find more weeds. Do I hate my garden? No, I want to tend it lovingly and remove the weeds so that the flowers can live in a healthy enviroment . We need to do this in our lives as well. Recognize that we are not perfect and remove the imperfections ( if possible)so that our spirits can dwell in a healthy body. Some imperfections require additional assistance. Such as medicine or sometimes counceling. First we have to recognize that there is a problem. We cannot fix someone else. We can only work on our own selves.

I still remember when I learned about the power of forgivness. We had just moved here from Texas. I felt that a certian person was at fault for some pretty tramatic situations that we found ourselves in. I had no control over it . First of all we left in the middle of the night and came here leaving a home that we had purchased. We had no job and still had 5 children and a dog living with us. Without going into detail about what happened to cause this I will tell you what happened to me. I spent my time reading the scriptures and listening to good music. I surrounded myself with positive things because I felt like I was about to be consumed. I was filled with righteous anger. I felt I was justified in feeling this anger. I still remember praying about it to Heavenly Father saying things like. Please take care of this other person that has caused our family such distress. I didn't think I had to do anything else. A very loving Heavenly Father taught me different. I had a dream. I still can recall it like it was yesterday. Heavenly Father was standing next to me. The person that had offended me was also with us. I had my arms folded in front like OK Heavenly Father will tell him and punish him and I will be on the front row watching and finally justice will prevail. I was anxiously awaiting the feeling of justification that was to come to me by watching him being punished by Heavenly Father. Suddenly I looked into the face of that person who was crumpled and crying. He was in such misery I was suddenly ashamed of myself for wanting to see something like that. From that moment on I was a different person. I could forgive him for what he had done. I apologized to him for wanting to see him in such misery (in my dream) .

I learned that day the power of forgivness. I know that we will be forgiven for our short comings if we are willing to forgive others theirs. A sweet peace came over me and I began to live without the canker of hate and anger that eats away at the soul. Satan is very powerful and he knows our weakness also. We get to choose whom we will serve. I promise peace comes when we apply the principles taught in the Miracle of Forgiveness and by living the Gospel.

After seeing Michelles blog about wanting justice, it reminded me of my experience. I wish I could help her to know what I know. I wish I could go back and have a do over. I wish Michelle knew how much everyone in this family loves her and misses her and Chris and the kids. I wish I could tell her that it is her that left the family. We did not leave her. I wish she knew that I don't sit around and talk bad about her. I keep hoping a miracle will happen and she will learn to forgive.

What would justice look like to her? I don't know for sure. I can only guess that she wants me destroyed. At least it feels like it. It has been a very long journey since that awful day. I don't love Michelle less, I want to see my grandchildren every single day. No one can take their place in my heart. 2 years is a long time in a childs life. What will they remember about me and grandpa? Will they know how much we love them? Whatever happened that awful day has long since been paid for. The loss of 3 grandchildren is great. Nothing will ever bring that time back. What a waste of precious precious time lost forever. Can we go on? I believe we can over come anything if we want to. I don't believe hashing up old dirt will help anyone. I do believe we can make things better if we want to. The Savior died for both of us Michelle. When you get tired of carrying the burden yourself, ask Heavenly Father for assistance. You will feel peace again in your life. You will once again feel the love and support of your entire family. We are here waiting with open arms.

Rick and I had an amazing week this week. We were host to 2 thirteen year old girls from Uganda. It filled a hole in my life being an empty nester and it served some children that had nothing. They were so polite and repectful. My responsibility was to feed them breakfast pack a lunch for them to eat during the day and then pick them up at 5:00 p.m. and then feed them dinner. They were to go to bed at 9:00 to be ready for the next day. They performed at a Methodist church on Friday and then went to Park City to have another family host them.
I loved it! They called me Mum. They helped me to know what they could eat for lunch and breakfast. I was going to fix pancakes and Shanice. one of my girls said no thanks, can we have rice? We ended up having scrambled eggs and juice with toast. I want to share some of the pictures we took while they were here. My other girls name was Josephine. I told them when they left to remember where their room is.

Friday I had 5 girls and we had a movie marathon night. We watched 27 dresses and Freaky Friday. I went to bed at 3:30 a.m. I think they finally went to bed at 4:30 a.m. Rick was a good sport and asked them if they wanted to go to bed. One said no, "This is a slumber party" . They loved pizza and it was fun to watch the movies with them and watch their faces. These were children who were starving before they came here and had no parents. What a great pleasure it was to serve them. They said thank you all the time. I loved every minute.
They are so cute!! YOu can see where 9 tons of rock went. What a difference a week or two make. Thanks to Bill especially Bill. The gazebo would still be scattered throughout the yard for ever more. When they delivered the rock, I knew it would be more than we needed. But hey, we used it all. Rick and I are very grateful for Bill and his knowledge. He knew it would be alot of work, but, he never complained. I think he is still recouperating today. Thanks Patti Shaela Trey Taylor Kambree Kyson Megan Carson Conner Katelyn & Kelly (who came all the way from Arizona) He spent some of his precious time helping us. We would really be up a creek with out all of you > THANK YOU SO MUCH! If you aren't playing yet, this one is fun.

So here's the deal...
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you (and if this isn't on there...I'll assume you're a procrastinator like me and will check back later!)

Wanna Play?Unknownnoreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8587713290320376644.post-3257018588516466452008-07-09T14:14:00.000-07:002008-07-09T14:34:25.685-07:00GAZEBOS , ANOTHER BRIGHT IDEAA Gazebo, what a great idea. Yeah that would be me and one of my bright ideas. They promised it would be easy. well, so far we are still digging the foundation. Thanks to Bill who came over to tell us in english what we needed to do. I call the amish gazebo place and ask What do I need to do. He said get crushed rock. I said what is crushed rock. Well, I'm sure he's going WHAT EVER LADY. I thought it was a good question. I know about gravel but crushed rock? He said its more jagged. ok, so I ordered crushed rock. 9TONS OF CRUSHED ROCK. GREAT ! Now how do we get it to the back yard. He said thats your problem as he dumped it in the front of the house. Amish gazebos drove all the way from Pennsilvania with no problem. The crushed rock guy got lost. I'm out on the corner of Winchester waving at all the white dump trucks. Anyway, Amish Gazebos they feel very confident that we can do this. OK! RIck may have me bound and gagged for a very long time. He's thinking yeah , we should have done the kitchen. (Well, thats coming up next ). Don't tell Rick, I want to surprise him. Come on over if you dare, I'll cook dinner for anyone brave enough and carries a screwdriver. Stay tuned for part 2Unknownnoreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8587713290320376644.post-27062592192885914382008-07-06T15:12:00.000-07:002008-07-06T15:34:18.826-07:00HAPPY 4TH OF JULY AND GOD BLESS THE USAI hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend. We did, it was kinda quiet around here. Nikki has moved in with Crystal while Justin is in Europe for the summer. The apartment is close to the University, so she doesn't have to wake up quite so early. The apartment has no airconditioning,(I can't imagine living without airconditioning) but they are enjoying living in their own place. I They came over on the 4th so we went to the movies together to see Get Smart. It was pretty good. It was fun just being with them. We had lunch and played games after. Our family seems to be getting smaller and smaller. Grandma and Grandpa Hand came later and brought pizza. Instead of barbequing. It was so easy ! Mom and Wendall haven't seen Dan in Real Life movie, so we watched it together. All in all it was a nice weekend. It felt like we had two Saturdays. One to play and one to work. I wish we had that every week . We are still working on the pathway to the pond. Rick has really worked hard. I can visulize what its going to look like and I'm excited to get to the sand and rock part. Kind like putting a puzzle together.

I've been thinking alot about how grateful I am for this country and for the founding Fathers who worked so hard in our behalf, so we could live like we do. I am worried about our future. We have become a people that don't vote. I heard that Utah was the lowest in turnout for the primary elections last week. 10% WOW that is really bad. Especially when we are losing our freedoms everyday. We had better wake up soon, or, we may find ourselves with a President who controls everything from what we eat to what and when we drive, to how much money we make and where we live. I can't believe what is happening. Who would have thought that we may be talking about the good old days when we could choose what we did for a living and could speak up when we disagreed. Anyway, I sure love you all.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8587713290320376644.post-73825854698760962402008-06-26T21:22:00.000-07:002008-06-26T21:59:18.769-07:00Family TiesHi, I thought I would update everyone on the happinings at the Crowther household. We have been busy since we last talked. Justin turned 27 on May 30th. He leaves in 2 days for Germany to go to school for 7 weeks. Wow, can you believe it ? He will be so far away. I hope he has a great experience. Heather had a birthday also. 24. Where does the time go. We get to see Chad and Heather alot and get to play with Riley and Tyler who are so much fun. They make me smile just to see their faces.
Rick and I went to Florida the beginning of June. Rick had a conference he needed to be to which happened to be around my birthday. I won't tell you how old I am, but, its getting up there. We went from Florida to Tennesse and spent the weekend with Diane and Bob in their beautiful home. We went to see Iron Man. It was pretty good. The best thing was being with Diane and Bob even though he had a busy schedule and was gone alot. We still had a great time. We barbequed on Sunday Bob did the cooking which was fabulous. He is a really good cook. We came home on Monday and it was hard to leave Diane and Bob in Tennesse, but, they live so close to Opra and Dolly I guess they will be ok.
Oh I can't forget to say the Nikkole graduated from High School in May also. She is working at the University and is about to move in with Crystal. All of a sudden Rick and I are emty nesters. We thought that was so far away. We have enjoyed having Nikki around. She has kept us young. I'm glad Chad doesnt live too far away to bring us Tyler and Riley. Things are going to be kinda quiet. Yippee oh I mean it will be ok too.
We celebrated Fathers Day last week and it was fun. We barbequed in the back. Rick and I have been working so hard on the yard. Even though it was hot, we suffered! by dang we are going to use our back yard shade or not. Happy Fathers day to all.
I am looking forward to seeing all of you, my favorite family, during the hot days of summer. I want to enjoy every minute with you.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8587713290320376644.post-28724419570306494722008-05-12T07:51:00.000-07:002008-05-12T08:31:51.555-07:00Hi Everyone,

It was mothers Day again! I love my family! Rick gave me some beautiful flowers. Crystal and Nikkole brought me some canna lilies. I planted them in the garden right away. They are a really awsome. Heather and Chad gave me a house plant that is unique. I loved it. How thoughtful they were. It was nice to have them over for dinner. We had burnt hamburgers (smile) It was the first time barbequeing for the summer. We enjoyed Riley and Tyler. Tyler gave me his cheetos for mothers day. It was the best. Riley looked so cute! She was wearing a head band that she wanted me to notice so we walked over to me with her head pointed to me so I would notice how cute she was. She makes me laugh ! How I love her!! We had such a nice time with them and Grandma and Grandpa Hand. I killed myself on Saturday pulling weeds . Rick and I have several projects going. We are working on the pathway in the back yard. The grass has grown over the flag stone. So we are starting over. If I am having a pathway there. I WANT TO SEE IT. So theres Rick out there with his shovel digging up the grass and the flag stone. He's a great guy! Its a good thing he is in such great shape!! I was able to speak with Aimee later in the day. She and the kids would have been there if they were closer. We did spend a nice weekend last week together. Landon Kyle was blessed. It was a great blessing to be there with Aimee Todd Zachary Madison Johnathan and Landon. What beautiful well behaved children. Aimee and Todd have done a great job raising them . They have grown so much I just saw them in February! We played games and laughed ! I'm a lucky Mom to have such great kids thankyou so much for making Mothers Day so nice for me. I love you all so much.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8587713290320376644.post-18940848400423315252008-02-28T15:24:00.000-08:002008-02-28T15:50:24.252-08:00Hi Everyone,
I thought I would update. Its been quite a while since I have written. I have been working all week. I can't believe it has been a week since we were with Aimee and Zach, Madison, Johnathan and Landon. They had to endure 3 grandma's! They had our undivided attention. They were so awsome. We went to Walmart to shop, you should have seen the long train. We each pushed a basket or the stroller. It was fun looking at baby things with Aimee. She just bearly got out ot the hospital but, what a trooper! She kept up with us just the same. I love you Aimee! Thanks for the wonderful visit!! I will treasure it for ever! We had 4 generations together at the same time. Wow huh. I'm hoping to get some of the pictures posted for you all to see. We started our Journey on the 19th of February which was Grandma Hands Birthday! We picked her up at 6:00 am. She was packed and ready to go. What fun she was too! What a great birthday to remember. We stopped once in a while to let her go to the bathroom but hey, we had a baby schedule to keep, which was to be to Aimee's before dark. We made it in great time. We laughed so much. Its a memory forever! Happy Birthday Mom ! We took mom shopping to update her wardrobe. She kinda became faint especially when she saw the bill. But hey ! She looks great! I hope I look as good as her when I'm 78.
We are celebrating Nikkole's Birthday this week. She is graduating this spring from Murray High School and she is turning 18 onFriday. I can't believe she is going to be 18. I can't believe I am as old as I am and that she is our last one home. I'll be posting pictures of the fun next week
I love yallUnknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8587713290320376644.post-72949448247797513412007-09-11T09:32:00.000-07:002007-09-11T10:56:08.440-07:00Happy Birthday Rick and Crystal!!
We had a very nice time this past weekend . Every labor day We celebrate the birth of two very important people in my family. I think back 24 years ago, we lived in Los Angelos California. Crystal Lynn Crowther was born. She was such a beautiful baby. I remember hoping her birth would happen in my life time. I had the tendancy to go over several weeks. By the time Crystal came along I was informing the Dr. that I was having her over the labor day weekend. He told me that it probably was not going to happen, so , I went home and cried. I remember being so miserable. The due date that Dr. Moran had given me had come and gone. He had just told me that he'd probably see me the following week. How depressing!! I went home so depressed. It felt to me that pregnancy was a permanent condition. I thought perhaps I wasn't pregnant at all but had a tumor. I didn't feel very good so I thought I would go home and sleep it off. She was born September 3, 1983, on a beautiful sunny california day. Dr Moran assisted us at the St Johns Hospital in Santa Monica, California. In those days we didn't know what sex the baby was before they we born. Chad was born in 1979 and Justin in 1981. We were kinda surprised to have and girl. We were so excited, and of course I could not wait to buy little girl cloths again
It had been quite awhile since Aimee born December 1974 and Michelle Oct 1976 were born . Crystal has been a joy in our life ever since. She is working full time at Deseret Mutual . She is assisting people with their investments. She is also going to school, working on her associates. Everything Crystal does, she gives it her all. She is fun , beautiful, and amazingly strong spirit. We have enjoyed her for 24 years. I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. Thank you Crystal for being who you are and for the 24 years of joy you bring to your family. We went to see Harry Potter 3D with Justin Nikki Crystal and me and Rick. We got there a little late so we didn't know that the big screen would tell us when to wear our dark glasses. We faithfully wore them through the movie. I took them off at one point saying I don't see a difference. Crystal, who was sitting next to me said . I don't either. Justin said put your glasses back on it is just a subtle difference. So we faithfully put them back on again. Then, the green glasses pop up on the big screen telling us to put them on. Wow, what a difference. Now we know what 3D looks like. We looked like men in black sitting on the back row. We had a good laugh after.
We also celebrate Rick's birthday. He was born on Sept 6. That just happens to be the day we brought Crystal home from the hospital. That was a great birthday present for him in 1983. Rick is an amazing man. I can always depend on him to have the right answer. He is dependable and honorable. We were married October 20, 1978 . I can't believe how fast the time has gone by, 29 years. I never thought we would be this old or at least, it was a long way away. Thanks for being who you are and the person that I love very much. You make life worth living . HAPPY BIRTHDAY RICKUnknownnoreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8587713290320376644.post-76665683806674337282007-08-21T09:20:00.000-07:002007-08-21T09:35:10.024-07:00August 21, 2007

Hi ! Well, Aimee shared some pictures with you of our very fun vacation last week. We had such a great time with all the kids. We went with a packed car, Crystal , Justin, and Nikkole, but , what fun we had!! We did alot of laughing and playing . We squeezed as much as we could into 3 days . It was one of those times I know will be difficult to repeat. Everyone is so buzy, it was a miracle we could have the four Aimee, Justin , Crystal, and Nikkole. Too bad we missed out on Michelle and Chris 's family. It was a great loss. I know Chad would love to have been there but he works all the time with no time off. Maybe next year we could get everyone. That would be awsome.
It seems that alot of stuff has happened lately , expensive stuff like my camera that I bought last year died. Go figure it was just over the year warranty. My cell phone broke, my computer crashed! What ever!!! Hey stop it right now. Patti was in a car accident. Everyone is ok but it was expensive to fix. Someone broke into Bills van and stole his very expensive golf clubs!! Its been quite the last few weeks. Other than that everythings great. We are planning a trip to Park city in September. Everyone is invited so let us know if you would like to come up with us even if it only for a day. I have some pictures on my cell phone that when I figure out how to post it I will share them with you I love you allUnknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8587713290320376644.post-23634554673932761382007-08-13T09:43:00.000-07:002007-08-13T11:26:55.409-07:00Monday August 12, 2007

I thought I would share what I learned yesterday. Sunday was so awsome , the whole day was so good. In Sacrament meeting we had a young couple speak. Patrick and xang yu Belnap were married a year ago. Patrick met xang yu in China when he went there a couple of years ago. Patrick felt a desire to serve the people in China, so he went. I got to know Patrick when he went with us on our trek a few years ago. I was impressed with his personality and how he was able to connect with the youth. He had served a full time mission, and was wanting to do more. He decided to go and it was there that he met xang yu. She was raised by her grandmother who had christian beliefs but was not LDS. Of course you cannot preach the gosple in China, so he suggested that xang yu go to Hong Kong where she could be taught the gosple. She borrowed money from friends but still didn't have enough. Patrick wrote to her and told her that a miracle had happened and he had more money than he needed . She was able to travel to Hong Kong and was taught the gosple. Her traveling alone , as young as she is without parent or friend was amazing to me. She was drawn to the gosple. Heavenly Father was with her and she was able to connect with people on her way, that helped her get where she needed to be. I guess in Hong Kong they give all 12 discussions and baptise while they are there. She was a golden prospect for sure. She was very nervous to speak yesterday, but, she was great. You could feel her spirit. She started to cry Patrick jumped up to give her a kleenex. She said thank you my husband stud muffin. We all laughed with her. Patrick got up and told us that he helped her write her talk. xang yu asked what stud muffin meant and he said it means "me". We all laughed with them and was so impressed with their ability to indure so much. How different we are in america . She is doing well. They are living with Patricks family in our ward until they are ready to find a home.
Relief Society was also very good. It was about being a reverent people. We need to take time everyday and communicate with Heavenly Father , show our gratitude for what we have been given. Take time to ponder. "We must remember that reverence is not a somber temporary behavior that we adopt on Sunday. True reverence involves happiness, as well as love, respect, gratitude, and godley fear. It is a virtue that should be part of our way of life. In fact, Latter-day Saints should be the most reverent people in all the earth." I wonder how close to the celestial kingdom we would get without this quality. Not very close I imagine. A simple thing like reverence is the corner stone of our religion, yet , perhaps we may not tune in unless we are on our knees in great distress or fear. I know that I have had moments of reverence that they talk about. When Rick found out he had cancer, we were shocked that this could happen to us. I remember feeling great fear. I also remember many fasting and prayers that helped to connect us to our Heavenly Father. Rick and I went to the temple. I was given and answer immediately. As I sat there, a peace enveloped me. I knew everything was going to be ok. I wasn't sure what the out come of his surgery was to be, but, I knew that Heavenly father knew and that was enough. To me faith is putting your trust in Heavenly Father, that , he literally takes the burden off our shoulders and carries it for us. The hardest thing for me is to learn to trust. I have learned alot this year about that. I have had moments , like the one I just shared that when I ponder I can remember what that felt like and move closer to my Heavenly Father and let him help me carry my burdens. I also remember the feeling of great love that I had that day in the temple. Patti was with me on one side and a woman I did not know on the other side. When that feeling of love came over me I want to pick up both of their hands and squeeze them. I picked up Patti's but I left the womans hand alone. Not a word was spoken but the feeling was transferred anyway. When we got to the celestial room she approached me and asked me why I was there. She could feel the love that I was feeling. We hugged and went our separate ways. Two weeks later I saw her in walmart. She said," I want to know what happened . " I know Heavenly Father loves us individually and he knows what our needs are. We just need to ask. He will pour out blessings on our head. I love you all.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8587713290320376644.post-50056276959582618952007-08-02T20:21:00.000-07:002007-08-02T20:36:00.451-07:00Hi Family,

Its been a few weeks since I have written on my blog. Life has been so busy, I was doing good to put one foot in front of the other. Last night I almost killed my family. I decided that maybe I should slow down. If it wasn't for Nikki who came in and said mom, your lights are still on ,on your car. I said , that couldn't be , they shut off automatically. So, I got up and sure enough I left the car running with the garage door shut and my laundry door to the garage ajar. It had been running for about an hour or so. So , Nikki is a hero, she saved us all just by coming in to say goodnight and seeing the lights on from the garage window. Wow, thats how fast things can happen.
I have been released from my relief society calling. It was time. We had been in for 3 years. I have been taking Rylie and Tyler to church with me. What a great time we are having learning to parent all over again. Maybe, I can do a better job this time. Anyway, We are having fun. Tyler will have a part in the primary program this year.
School is about to start for Nikki Justin and Crystal. I can't believe the summer has gone by so fast. What a hot year it has been. I'm kinda glad to see fall around the corner. Nikki Crystal Justin and me and Rick are going out to see Aimee Todd and the kids. I know that they have grown so much. I can't wait to see them. And their new house. We will be going on the 15th of the month. Then school starts the next week. I hope all is well with all of you. You are my favorite people!! Love ya PenniUnknownnoreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8587713290320376644.post-70573716240359419272007-07-17T10:32:00.000-07:002007-07-17T10:44:51.406-07:00Here we are again. I finally found some time to blog to my favorite people. Patti and I have been so busy. We just drop in to bed at night. In the last 3 days we have listed 4 homes and have 2 more this week. That will bring a total of 7 homes on the market. We are also working with 6 buyers. We have almost forgotten what home is. We just live in our cars. Wow , It just boomed all at once. We are grateful its been 7 long months . I was just released as first councelor in the Relief Society. It was time , we had been in for 3 + years. I have been grateful for the blessing of serving in the Relief Society. Now its time for someone else. I hope they call me as door greeter. I can do that. Well, this is short, but I wanted to let you all know why I haven't written for a while. Hope all is well with you. I love you lots.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8587713290320376644.post-31112026252462109092007-06-26T08:24:00.000-07:002007-06-26T09:12:34.497-07:00 We found Elvis!! Its really not hard. Just like you said. I just didn't believe it. I could start at the beginning of time , but, that would make this very long. Just know that I began a long time ago and I celebrated another birthday 2 weeks ago. Patti and I just tell people we look really good for being a senior citizens. Thats ok, I guess, but , just know it will happen to you someday. Rick and I have alot to catch you up on. We have taken a few vacations with at least part of our family. Maybe someday we will all be in a picture that we could share on this blog.

East Canyon was great fun Nikki took her best friend Kenna, Crystal had just started her new job so she only had the weekend with us . We played games and laughed alot. It was so good to get out of town.

Tennessee was just me and Rick. We got to spend time with Diane and Bob in their mansion on a hill. We went to the Blue Bird for dinner the first night. Diane told you the story the people we sat with . Who knew there was a Columbia Tennessee. I said what made you move there? They looked at me kinda funny like and said work? I almost asked what kind of work did your husband do? She had just told us he had died. Diane saved me from further embarrasment. Diane said oh yeah , I remember seeing that there is a Columbia in Tennessee. We had a great time with Diane and Bob. We did a little sight seeing. We also had a barbeque with some of their new ward members on memorial day. We had an awsome time with them also. We went downtown Franklin and looked in the shops. Me and Diane were having a great time. Rick and Bob let us shop, I'm not sure they had as much fun at that as we did. Tuesday , after memorial day Rick and I flew to Florida . Rick had some continuing Ed classes to get done so I got to go with him. We went to a place called Saddlebrook. It was a very expensive resort . We stayed until Saturday and flew home. I'll tell you what. I had a great time we were out in the middle of swamp land and I got to see an alligator I show you my proof. I have never been to Florida before so.
